The few who are lucky enough to be invited are truly talented, but that certainly doesn't make them untouchable by drama and such things. The Year of Their Lives follows a few select students' lives, through the drama and the turmoil and the romance and the heartbreak that naturally comes with teenage life. Buckle up, students, it's going to be a long two years...
I don’t think that I have to say anything to really say to explain (part of the reason as to) why I’m accepting this application, since it’s rather obvious as to why I am and everything. Though it’s less for the obvious reasons and more for the amazing writing, anyways, of course.

Will Schuester’s plan had never quite been to be a teacher—he wanted to be a Broadway star, just like every other starry eyed dreamer in the world. Tina Cohen-Chang had always been a rather shy person, and she always best expressed herself through her Gothic sense of fashion that defined her from everyone else. However, what with this being her second year at Ashmore she’s still not quite sure what to do about the fact that the uniform that she is forced to wear confines her and makes her just the same as everyone else. The constant fear of never being seen was constant throughout her first year—then again, the fact that she was at the most prestigious school on earth probably made up for that. And so did the fact that another certain Asian named Mike Chang, who was even quieter than her but was still amicable and popular, took an interest in her and suddenly they were together and dating and in love. Yet at the beginning of her second year everything suddenly began to change, and Mike was proposing out of nowhere and she was getting new friends like Blaine and Kurt and Quinn—but then Mike disappeared without a trace. Brokenhearted, she tried valiantly to pick up the pieces of her heart and it seemed, for a little bit, that she could move on and return to being a quiet feminist again. However Mike returned, but not without drama in tow, since the rumor that he slept with Santana while he and Tina were together? Entirely true. Ever since, Tina has been off the map, and no one knows what’s going on with her—they just know that she’s hurt. Can Mike fix their relationship? Or is it impossible for Tina to ever forgive him?
